Mercanti in Viaggio, handmade & vintage fair. October, Sunday 11th

Marco found out about Mercanti in Viaggio last spring, when he wanted to take me there for a weekend for my birthday. due to prior commitments though, we weren't able to make it. the name means travelling merchants, and it's a vintage and handmade fair held at Castello Quistini, a gorgeous villa in a town called Rovato. it has a spring and a fall edition, in april and october, every year.

it's not the usual flea market. it was a wonderful journey through vintage clothes and furniture, next to self-produced and handmade creations. from the location to the goods for sale, everything was very very lovable and very very us.

it ended with me spending way more that i expected but, hey, was it my 6 months delayed birthday or not? :)

once back home, i organized the business cards collected at the fair, in order to not forget those talented crafters and makers we liked the most!
